The Camino Real Siberian Husky Club was a great weekend for us at
Kaos this year. On Saturday, under Ms.
Karen Stenlund,
Blaze
won Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweepstakes. The brace of
Satinka and
Katie
won first place in their brace class.
Kezia
won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners under Breeder/Judge
Bobbie Palmer, finishing her championship with a 4 point major.
On Sunday,
Blaze
won the Open Dog class and Winners Dog, for his first points
and a 3 point major under Breeder/Judge Noreen Rosi.
Katie
won the competitive Open bitch class.
At the Kennel Club of Pasadena
show Katie won her third point from the Open class under Judge
Steven Hubbell.
Hummee, back in Southern California with
his breeders and owners, Dennis and Kathi Anderson, was RWD both days of the Pasadena
shows. |

Mission Circuit was a good
weekend for Kaos this year.
Blaze won his class each day and
learned to leave the bait in the ring alone.
Katie
had a
great weekend. Friday, under judge Mrs. Lynette Salzman
Katie won RWB; Sunday, under Mrs. Mary Ann Alston, Katie was RWB,
winning her first reserve to a major. And on Saturday, she
was third in the Open under Judge William Bergum. |

The news I've been waiting to
be able to write:
Satinka is now Ch. Apache
Run's Satinka of Kaos. Winning Winner's Bitch at the
Northern California Siberian Husky Club's specialty, with Judge
Sally Redin, for a four point major Satinka finished her
championship in style.
April 29th, down in Texas, her little
brother (1/2 brother, really) finished his Championship, with not
only Winners Dog, but BOB AND a Group placement!

At the recent weight pull
event, held by the Southern California Malamute Club, Ice earned
his third leg toward his weight pull title. Since weight pull
titles aren't offered through the AKC or SHCA for Siberian
Huskies, his title will be through the Malamute HELP League which
offers many titles for working dogs of all breeds. We just
think it's cool that Ice is going to earn any title!

Happy New Year! January
has gotten off to a good start for the Kaos Krew.
Satinka
was in the ribbons in the Open class both days of the Siberian
Husky Club of Greater Phoenix specialty under breeder/judge Donna
Beckman and Judge Judy Bennett.
At the Orange Empire Dog
Club show
Satinka
was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for her first major
under Judge Mary Ann Brocious.
Coincidentally, her litter
sister,
Apache Run's Abey, also
received her first major Sunday in Abilene, Texas. |
