From kidney disease to cancer...in three days. Sasha's ultrasound showed bleeding into the abdomen and cancer. With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our pushy nosed, gray girl. Sasha was a rescue who came into our lives when her former owners felt guilty at seeing her blue eyes watching them from the exile of the back yard. From the get-go, she was one of Grandma's girls. All she craved was food and attention, and not necessarily in that order!
By the time we saw symptoms, it was too late, the cancer had invaded her fluffy gray body and taken over her organs.
Once again we said goodbye, too soon...selfishly wanting there to be another way, another day.
