Kaos Puppies

A Siberian Husky puppy, while cute and adorable, is a lot of work and requires a commitment on your part to help him or her grow into a happy, well-socialized pet.  All puppies sold to pet homes are sold on AKC Limited Registrations and spay/neuter contracts.

Many people ask "What kind of puppy should I get?"  Here is one of my favorite answers.

By Kim Transier (Dog Nose News Featured Article - May 2005)

Q: We’re choosing a breed. What kind of puppy will be calm, clean, and quiet?

A: Ceramic. Puppies are awful. Their teeth, when not embedded in your person, are dismantling your property. Meanwhile, the other end dribbles unspeakable fluids in unforgivable locations. Nature equips puppies with overwhelming cuteness to keep us from killing them.

Tipton is a sweet, snuggly 2 yr old boy. He is neutered, housetrained and hasn't learned how to mark!  Tipton gets along well with everyone here at Kaos, including his bossy big sister, Emmy.  Tipton runs on our recreational team and in his second year is putting some serious power into his harness.  Like most Siberian Huskies, Tipton is not good with cats and although he was raised with a Cocker Spaniel, is a little too enthusiastic to live with a small dog or small child.

Sage is also from our 2008 litter.  She's a sweet, snuggly girl who loves to curl up at your feet or on your lap on the sofa or next to you in bed.  Sage is housetrained and gets along with everyone here at Kaos.  Sage has started running in harness and in just a couple of outings has shown that she loves to run.  Like most Siberian Huskies, Sage is not good with cats or other small animals.

Rescues

Have you considered an older dog?  There are many dogs who through no fault of their own find themselves without a home.  Siberian Husky rescue groups in California always have animals available.
