Kaos Siberians is Laura & Sean Atkinson and Laura's mom, Sharon. Laura enjoys spending time in the show ring with the dogs, primarily in conformation although Ice and Ryder spend some time thinking about rally obedience. Sean enjoys working with the dogs in harness, whether dryland mushing with a cart or scooter or up in the snow with the sled. Sharon, as the official Kaos Grandma, provides additional love and spoiling, as well as some pretty darn good kennel help at dog shows. The dogs are a major part of our lives and most of our activities center around them.
Laura is a member of both the Siberian Husky Club of America and the Camino Real Siberian Husky Club and adheres to the Code of Ethics of both clubs. Sean and Laura are also members of Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers.

Kaos Siberians got its start when we fell in love with the breed while attending college in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Shiloah was found in a "free pets for you" ad in Minnesota, moved back to Washington to live with Sean's Mom while we completed college and then Shiloah moved in with us when we returned to Seattle. There wasn't too much that Shiloah didn't do. She ate siding off of the (rental) house, dug through a door attempting to get inside, escaped and disappeared into West Seattle for 5 days, crawled under a deck with 4" of clearance (the deck boards had to be pulled up to get her out) and, in general, taught Sean and Laura just a little bit about the creativity of the Siberian Husky.
Many years later we (Sean, Laura and Laura's Mom, Sharon) bought a house in Southern California and the dogs started pouring in. In the beginning, the dogs were rescues; they found their permanent homes at Kaos Siberians. Then Laura was bitten by the show bug and the show dogs started arriving.
As we make plans for the first generation of Kaos dogs, we thank the many experienced breeders who have shared not only their friendship, but their knowledge and love of the breed with us.
We are dedicated to raising sound, healthy Siberian Huskies. To further the health of our Siberians, we feed only a raw diet, using human grade ingredients, do not vaccinate except as required by state law and do not use any chemicals in or on our dogs. Any dog used in our breeding program will have their eyes cleared annually by a board-certified canine ophthalmologist and hip x-rays will be evaluated to insure the absence of hip dysplasia, a painful hereditary disease.
